The 21/22 school year began on August 31!
Visions has been closely following the recommendations of State and County Health Officials and we’ve continually made changes to our programs and services as needed.
To prepare for the new school year it will be helpful for you to note the following updates:
- Parents, students and teachers are now able to meet in-person but must follow mask guidelines. According to the California Department of Public Health, teachers, staff, students and parents/guardians are required to wear masks indoors during student interactions regardless of vaccination status.
- Special Education, related services and IEP meetings will be offered both virtually and in-person. Please contact your student’s service provider or special education teacher for more info.
- Community Partners that have been approved by Visions can provide in-person services. Students/Families please see the Student and Family COVID-19 Enrichment Services Resource Guide.
- Our main office is now open to support students and families.
Visions will continue to closely monitor state mandates and local health department recommendations. Any changes to school activities and programs will be shared with currently enrolled students and families on the Wire and via email.
