Thank you for your interest in our school. We are now accepting applications for Fall 2010-2011.

We are accepting applications for the Fall 2010 semester for students in all 9 counties in which we serve families.

Enrollment is a 3 step process:

Step 1 - The Application

Complete the Visions In Education Application.
Note: You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to view and print this application. You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader free from Adobe.com.

Note to students currently enrolled in another school. Do not withdraw from your school until we have completed the application process and have contacted you with the results.

Note to Adult Students age 18-19: Admission to Visions In Education will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Students over the age of 19 are not eligible to enroll in charter Schools.


Step 2: Collect the documents (click to view)

Step 2 - Gather the Documents

Please gather the following documents. Submit copies (do not send originals) with your application packet.

We cannot accept your application unless you submit ALL these documents:

  1. A proof of residency (cable, electric, gas bill.)
    Note: We will accept a proof of residency in a second party name only if accompanied by a signed statement from the customer stating you reside at this address.
  2. High school transcript (all high school work completed.)
    • For Middle School students only, submit most recent report card.
  3. Immunization record.
  4. Legal proof of age of student (e.g. birth certificate, baptismal certificate, passport, or immigration certificate. If none of these documents are obtainable, the parent may complete the Affidavit of Birth Date.

Note: For special education students, if you have a recent IEP (Individualized Education Plan,) please submit it with your application packet. You may request a copy of the IEP from your school district's Special Education office.

Step 3: Orientation Information (click to view)

Step 3 - The Enrollment Orientation

We will call you to schedule an appointment once we have processed your application. During your orientation you will learn more about our program and meet with a counselor to schedule your classes. Depending on your location, your orientation will be at one of Visions' centers, or a counselor may come to you.

During Orientation
  1. Parent or legal guardian must participate in orientation with the student.
  2. All students in grades 2-12 will take a reading test during their enrollment orientation.
  3. Bring a withdrawal form from your previous school to the Orientation Appointment. We cannot enroll you in Visions In Education if you are enrolled in another school. (Note: If you are currently enrolled in high school, stay enrolled at your current school and complete your first semester (second quarter) finals before withdrawing to come to Visions).
Note to all parents of Kindergarten or 1st-Grade Students

If your student is entering Kindergarten or 1st grade and has not had a health examination for school entry, please print the Health Examination Form and take it to their doctor for completion. This examination is required for all 1st grade students. The exam must be completed within 18 months of the December the student attends 1st grade.

California law now requires that your child have an oral health assessment by May 31 in kindergarten or first grade, whichever is his or her first year of public school. Please print the Oral Health Assessment/Waiver Form and take it to your licensed dentist or other licensed or registered dental health professional to be completed. Submit the completed form to the school before May 31st.
