Updated: April 8, 2022

Memorial Auditorium requires all guests to follow a set of behavioral guidelines at all public events.

Adherence to these guidelines is non-negotiable; failure to comply may result in your family missing graduation. As we approach the ceremony, we will keep you apprised of any changes to the requirements on this page and in email communications. Please continue to check this page leading up to graduation for the latest information.

All requirements listed below are subject to change.

    • Metal Detectors: Everyone will be required to go through a metal detector or swept by a metal detecting wand prior to entering the building. Please arrive at the venue at least one hour before the ceremony starts to allow plenty of time to pass through the metal detectors and find your seat.
    • COVID-19: As of April 1, 2022, the California Department of Public Health no longer requires a negative COVID test or vaccination card to enter mega events. Family and students will no longer be required to present proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 tests prior to entrance at this time. This is subject to change based on recommendations from local health officials, please continue to check this page leading up to graduation.
    • Bags: Memorial Auditorium requires all bags to be clear, or 6”x 8”x1” and smaller.
    • Masks: Protective face-masks will not be required, but may be worn. This is subject to change based on recommendations from local health officials, please continue to check this page leading up to graduation.
    • Food: There is no food or beverages other than water allowed in Memorial Auditorium. Please consume your food/drinks before passing through the metal detectors.
    • Balloons: There will be no balloons allowed inside the Auditorium or past the metal detectors. Families must leave balloons in their vehicles or you will be asked to pop them before passing through the metal detectors.
    • Flowers: Families are allowed to bring flowers inside.
