Student Outreach is an internal program to provide focused services to students seeking support or needing interventions for academics, behavior, or attendance often due to deeper concerns relating to substance abuse, mental health, or social issues. Student Outreach is a process - not a curriculum or treatment center - that connects programs and services within and across the school and community to create a network of support. Student Outreach identifies students in need of intervention, assesses specific needs, and provides them with support and referrals to appropriate resources. The goal of Student Outreach is to remove barriers to education so that a student may be successful.
