At Visions In Education, we strive to support our Home School Academy families with a variety of curriculum support options and daily live interaction classes. See some of the highlights of our program below.
Online Classes
Visions In Education offers online classes (called synchronous instruction) to all students in the Home School Academy. These classes are taught by our credentialed teachers and are available for each grade-level. Ask your teacher for recommendations for your student!
Daily Live Interaction
Visions In Education Home School Academy offers LIVE Daily Interaction classes to support student wellness in grades TK-12. Daily Live Classes help build community between staff and students and connect students to their peers.
Introductory Work Packets
Each Introductory Work Packet (IWP) is a grade-level assignment packet to be used in the first 20 days of school. They are designed to help introduce you and your student to home school while you select your curriculum in partnership with your credentialed teacher and wait for your core curriculum to arrive.
Ordering for Home School
Once you have met with your teacher and confirmed core curriculum choices, our Ordering Services team will work with you to ensure you have your materials as quickly as we can process your orders. Order curriculum and events using our LPAD Student Support System.
Home School Curriculum Support
Visions Home School Academy families are supported by a team of curriculum experts who help make pacing guides and answer questions you may have about the curriculum your student uses. Our core curriculum is designed to meet California state standards and comes with pacing guides and other supports to ensure your student has what they need to succeed.
Subject Content Resources
Our curriculum support team compiles educational resources and shares them with our families in easily accessible guides. Families can also take advantage of Visions’ subscriptions to renowned resources like Scholastic and BrainPop to supplement their learning.
