That’s why Visions families in all academies have access to Parent University, a year-round program designed to connect families with Visions leaders and staff, build community, and provide practical strategies to support student success.
Academy Orientations – Familiarize yourself with your student’s academy, learn about instructional expectations and routines, and understand what to expect throughout the school year. Meet your teachers, ask questions, connect with the school community, and get prepared for a successful year of learning.
AI & Your Student – Learn how to understand and navigate AI alongside your student. Gain practical tools and strategies to support responsible, thoughtful AI use at home, including conversation starters, videos, hands-on activities, and family-friendly resources to help you keep the conversation going.
Parenting with Positive Discipline – Learn practical, strengths-based strategies for responding to everyday behavioral challenges. Practice ways to turn difficult moments into opportunities to help your children build self-discipline, responsibility, cooperation, respect, and problem-solving skills.
