Contra Costa County was incorporated in 1850 as one of the original 27 counties of the State of California, with the City of Martinez as the County Seat. It is one of the nine counties in the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Area and the ninth most populous county in California.

We serve students across this diverse region in cities like Concord, Walnut Creek, El Cerrito, Hercules, Crockett, Antioch, Discovery Bay, San Ramon and Alamo to name a few.

Visions In Education is a tuition-free public charter school that provides a high quality standards-based education to home school families (K-12) and independent study high school students (9-12), including our new Visions EDGE Online High School Pilot Program.

From your enrollment processing through your graduation, we will make every effort to support you and your family’s efforts to succeed. Beginning summer of 2012, we have added new ways for students in Contra Costa County to enroll:

• Families enrolling students in Visions’ K-12 Home School will be able to enroll at various locations in Contra Costa County.
• High school students interested in the Independent Study High School program will be able to complete our enrollment process with a representative that will meet you at your home or at a location in your neighborhood.
