Sacramento County

Helping Sacramento County Students Succeed

Sacramento County was incorporated in 1850 as one of the original 27 counties of California. The County’s largest city, the City of Sacramento, is the seat of government for California and also serves as the county seat. Sacramento became the State Capital in 1854.

Across this region, we serve a diverse group of students and families across cities and towns like Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights, Rancho Cordova, Elk Grove, Folsom, Gold River, Oak Park, North Highlands, Orangevale, Walnut Grove, Elverta, Carmichael and many more.

Visions In Education is a tuition-free public charter school that provides a high quality standards-based education to home school families (K-12) and independent study high school students (9-12), including our new University Prep High School (EDGE) Program.

From your enrollment processing through your graduation, we will make every effort to support you and your family’s efforts to succeed.
