Hasnain R. had a vision for his future, and he came to Visions In Education to begin working toward that vision.
He and his twin brother, Harmain, enrolled in the University Prep Early College Academy just before their second year with the goal of graduating from high school in just two years.
To achieve this goal, they needed an educational program that would truly support them. For Hasnain, that meant finding a place where he could complete his schoolwork at a pace that worked for him while continuing to make progress toward his long-term aspirations.
From the moment they enrolled, Hasnain and Harmain were met with personalized support and encouragement to pursue their goals every step of the way. This summer, they proudly graduated with the Class of 2026, delivering inspiring words of encouragement before officially beginning their next chapters.
Hear their inspiring graduation speech below:
Throughout his time at Visions, one of Hasnain’s favorite parts of being a student was the support he received from his credentialed teachers and Visions staff. His favorite class was Chemistry, thanks in large part to the way his teacher made learning engaging and enjoyable.
“My teacher made it very engaging and very fun to learn, which for me was a great experience,” he explained.
Beyond the virtual classroom, Hasnain also enjoyed the wide selection of clubs, activities, and events available to Visions students.
One opportunity he particularly appreciated was attending a four-day StrengthsFinder student leadership camp through Visions’ partnership with Youth Development Network at Grizzly Creek Ranch in the Sierra Nevada Mountains this summer.
The camp challenged students to step outside their comfort zones, embrace new experiences, and discover the strengths they bring to their schools and communities. Whether speaking in front of their peers, participating in group activities, or simply encouraging one another, campers demonstrated positivity, courage, and a willingness to grow.
Outside of Visions activities, Hasnain enjoys reading, exploring Roblox, and spending quality time with family and friends. He also appreciated how Visions supported his interest in reading by giving him access to a larger selection of books through his student funds.
Now that he has graduated, Hasnain is looking toward the next step in his journey. He plans to study for the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) before attending medical school, with the hope of becoming a doctor.
As he prepares to enter this next chapter, Hasnain encourages students who may be considering Visions to reach out and explore the options available to accommodate their individual needs. He believes taking that step can help students determine whether Visions is the right fit for their educational journey.
“I had such a great experience at Visions and loved it here and have recommended to many already and they have switched as well.”
Visions would like to extend a special thank-you to Hasnain, his twin brother Harmain, and their family for sharing their experience at our August Board meeting. They spoke about how the support and accommodations their family received helped them feel welcomed, accepted, and supported throughout their time at Visions.
From regular communication and school events to social opportunities and enrichment vendors, including driver’s education, they shared how these experiences made their time at Visions meaningful. We are so proud to support our students and grateful for the opportunity to witness their success and hear about their experiences firsthand.
