Cybersecurity Careers Pathway

Visions In Education is proud to provide 10th, 11th, and 12th grade Independent Study and University Prep students with educational experiences that extend beyond the classroom and reach into their future. Visions’ Career and Technical Education (CTE) program strives to prepare students for college and career by keeping students engaged while providing credentialed instruction, work-based learning opportunities, and dual enrollment and articulated college credit.

The Cybersecurity pathway is designed to expose high school students to the ever-growing field of cybersecurity. This is a two-course pathway that provides the technical understanding of networking and security, as well as the communication skills and professionalism required of all entry-level IT positions. By completing this pathway, students will have an understanding of academic and career paths they can take to achieve their future goals, including community colleges, trade schools, and 4-year college IT programs.   • Learn the fundamentals of cyber crimes
  • Develop skills in popular computer programming languages.
  • Develop Employability Soft Skills needed for all careers.
  • Explore a career field before committing to a college major.

This pathway is now enrolling and courses will begin in Fall 24/25
